Blunthead Tree Snake, one of the strangest snakes I've ever seen! The Blunthead Tree Snake dwells deep in forests found throughout Central and South America. During the day they can be found coiled up in trees taking a nap, and at night they forage for food. These snakes primarily feed on geckos, lizards, frogs, and reptile eggs. Though they are venomous, they aren’t particularly harmful to humans. And those eyes! They account for 25% of their total head-length.
