Castle Kromberk Postojna Kromberk Castle was built at an altitude of 116 meters in the form of a square building, which has the same tower at each of the four corners. The castle was built in the early seventeenth century, using examples of northern architecture of the 16th century. During the World War the castle was partially destroyed and some parts of it will never be recovered.

On the ground floor of the castle is the Art Gallery, which contains works of the Baroque style of the Middle Ages. Here you can also see the Department of Culture, equipped with pictures and furniture of the 19th century. On the second floor of the castle are located archaeological and ethnological divisions.

The territory of the castle is made in the Baroque style, like a fountain in the garden, built in the mid 1774.
