To create this piece inspired by landscape I've put muslin into an embroidery frame then used overstitch to pull the threads apart. You could do this on a sewing machine using a close zigzag stitch. Holes have been created in some areas using buttonhole stitch. I've also couched down some heavier threads on top. Posted 9th November 2011 by Christine Jones
