'Fighting Temeraire', rose. 'Fighting Temeraire', developed by David Austin Roses. Named after the colours in the famous painting by Turner. A fairly uncommon rose I would think, with huge blowsy blooms like a loose lettuce and a wonderful glowing, golden centre that seems to be lit from the inside when newly opened. Quite a large shrub, floriferous and surprisingly trouble free, but best in a cool spot as the flowers tend to collapse in a heatwave...hence it's doing especially well this year!
